Listening I is the first level of the Three listening skill courses given to the English Department Students of Nusa Cendana University. This course is designed to introduce students to the basic skills of listening comprehension through strategic and effective methods. The course covers comprehension of main ideas and important details; understanding of speaker’s purpose and attitude; understanding spoken data in order to make inferences, form generalization, and draw conclusion.
