Writing 3 Course is
based on Writing 1 and Writing 2 Courses.
Assuming that Writing 1 focuses on word choice and setence development,
Writing 3 focuses, therefore, on writing as a discourse. Therefore, this course covers issues, such as
choosing topics to write, writing organization, word choice,
sentence structure, paragraph structure, and mechanics of
writing. In addition to that, such
issues as theories of the teaching and learning of EFL writing are also
discussed since the participants are prospective EFL teachers. Other topics will also be discussed if the
students participating in this course need to discuss them, as such topics are
relevant to their learning needs.
